Mikey, your Inferno Cannon will be Pen 8.

Oh and your rations will each contain a pack of lho-sticks and a small flask of ration grade amasec and some recaff (of different varieties).

Two questions: 1) do our sergeants get 2000 XP or 2400? If the latter, I've got to buy more advances. 2) are we going to have a medic or corpsman attached?

Yes, we'll have a medic. Whatever skills aren't available after everyone has sorted themselves out *cough*Rochey*cough* will be filled out in the crew of the command track, which I'll add later.

Wierd, my post vanished.

Yes we will have a medic. I'm either going to add a command track (with the misc skills still needed) after everyone gets sorted *cough*rochey*cough* or someone will get a free elite advance.

Take 2400, cause I did that without thinking.

Ya know Mikey, with Krak round the Autocannon is better against armor than the multilaser.

OK, something odd is going on between the description of some of the kit among different folks' CS posts. We seem to have settled on the "Fury" laspistol, which has the following stats: 20m; S/2/5; 1d10+2E; 0 Pen; 30 rounds; full; reliable. Not 60 rounds by any stretch.

We also have gone to an auto version of the lascarbine, but there is one of those in the IH as well - the Minerva-Aegis pattern, as follows: 60m; S/4/8; 1d10+2E; 0 Pen; 40 rounds; full; reliable. This is in essence the same as the standard lascarbine, but with the addition of the SA and FA capabilities. I don't know where the odd ammo capacities for the pistol and carbine came from. If Kendall chooses to go with a lower ROF for the lascarbine, that's fine, but the ammo capacity for either weapon should remain the same.

Finally, the combat knife is listed in the IH as 1d5+3R; 0 Pen; primitive. I'll adjust my CS to reflect the above, and wait for Kendall's call on whether to use the IH carbine or his own ROF.

Remember that this generic crew loadout was cooked up well before we got full auto carbines. Additionally, in DH Kendall ruled that an alternate size charge pack for carbines didn't make much sense and that they use full size charge packs. So the stats for a carbine in this RP are,

Basic 60m S/3/6 1d10+2E 0Pen 60r Full Reliable

Second, the pistol thing is just my screw up. I copied over my commissar's character sheet as the basis and forgot to alter the stats from her fury pistol to the standard laspistol.

The knife stats were from the DH book, looks like they added a combat knife in the IH.

We'll go with a standard laspack being good for the carbine. It doesn't much make sense otherwise and the same with the RoF.


Right, that's what I took it from as Kendall called it "combat knife" specifically - the IH describes it as being lug-attachable as a bayonet, plus the Death Korps fluff describes a larger knife that doubles as a field tool.
We'll use the IH combat knife stats: Melee 1d5 + 3 R Pen 0 Primitive
