Awww, that's a shame.

I always felt Winchester was one of the more complex characters on MASH. A man of towering ego, but also capable of great acts of charity. He was certainly a lot better than Burns. ;) But yeah. RIP, good sir. :(

He was a great actor. He also played the mayor of the little town Michael J. Fox crashed into in the movie Doc Hollywood, as well as voicing Cogsworth in the Disney cartoon Beauty and the Beast, and Dr. Jumba Jukira in the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch. He will be missed.
