American tourists 1, possible terrorist gunman 0.

In what has become a pattern for the last century, visiting Americans with a bit of help from the English have once again saved French bacon. The story.

I am seeing quite a bit on how much this story differs in each news outlet. Apparently there may be as many as 6 people including a Frenchman that got in with the ass whooping.

yeah, same here. The story's gone through a number of permutations.

But still, good on the ones to stop the nutjobs!

Well three people got medals. I would guess more people were involved, but it was the three who did most of the deadly shit.

What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

No, all six of those involved have been decorated - those three are simply the ones who received them on that day because the others are still in hospital.

However, it was those three that did most of the deadly shit, with one more getting points for an ineffective but mad brave attempt. Plus, the English guy who helped tie up the gunman after the Americans beat him to sleep.
