Stuff that never happened

Post by Teaos »

This near collapse of credit in America got me remembering other things that were predicted but never come to pass.

I remember specifically quite a bit of talk in the 90's and very early 00's about one world goverments. How Europe is going to form into one coalition like the states. South America wiull form together, Africa ect ect, Then these groups will start to merge, until we are left with the President of Earth.

If anything it seems as if we are almost heading the other way, more fragmenting not uniting.

That's what the Freemasons and the World Bank want you to think....

The Japanese are taking over. China's gong to conquer us all. It's Vietnam all over again.

Y2K seems to be the most over hyped nothing out there.

Y2K was actually taken seriously by scientists and governments. 2012 was for nuts.

Actually what happened was that it was hyped so much that everybody spazzed and start hurling piles of money at computer scientists and engineers until the problems were solved.

Huh. I suppose that's actually kinda the same thing. Lots of spazzing and then people (at the freaking 23.5th hour) averted it.

Did the piles of money do anything? I don't know if it was ever proven to be an actual threat. Computers that wernt upgraded still kept working.

From what I remember those that were not modified worked just fine and didn't lose any information. People acted like it was going to cause everyone to revert back to the stone age or something.

It's the dilemma of prevention efforts. The more successful you are, the less people believe you were ever necessary.
