We have, which is why we're not interested in becoming a state for the ol' US of A...Tyyr wrote:It's nice to see some growth in the star count. Now Canada just needs to come to its senses.

Not one state, like five or so. Or you could just keep on being a wholly owned subsidiary, your choice.

We like to have the illusion of independence and freedom...Deepcrush wrote:To be fair, England seems to leave them well enough alone.

Then why do you keep putting the Queen on your cash?

In a few years we get Charles...
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

That means, for Canada, if we still pretend to adhere to the British crown, that our money will have to become much, much wider to accommodate his gigantic ears...Teaos wrote:In a few years we get Charles...

A lot of people, even with in the Royal circles think Charles is going to abdicate right away to William.
He's not popular and rumor has it he is getting early onset alsymers.

I definitely think he should abdicate in favour of William. William and Kate will be hugely popular in my opinion. Elizabeth is just holding out so Charles doesn't get the throne.Teaos wrote:A lot of people, even with in the Royal circles think Charles is going to abdicate right away to William.

I dont think not wanting to die counts as holding out. She might be going for the record and beat Victoria.

Inflation of money? I mean, the value remains the same, there is just more stuff needed to represent that value.Praeothmin wrote:That means, for Canada, if we still pretend to adhere to the British crown, that our money will have to become much, much wider to accommodate his gigantic ears...Teaos wrote:In a few years we get Charles...
