DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
Re: DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
Indeed........that failed cloak roll screwed him from the start. Nemesis would have ended alot quicker if the E-E had gotten in that first full strike.

ya, although I'm surprised the same ship walked away from this one....we'd all chalked that up to plot power, but here's some evidence that the E-E does have the tactical ability to take out the scimitar.

Re: DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
Nobody ever argued it's ability. The issue was the cloak. If Seafort had stayed cloaked, or you started them off at a greater distance, then Stitch never would have gotten in that massive first strike. Seafort suffered most of his damage trying to slug it out with the Soverigen, and that's not what a Romulan (or Reman) ship is designed to do.

Re: DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
To be honest, from what I saw....Seafort took a bit to long to cloak. Those couple of critical rounds where he chose to fight uncloaked were deadly for him.

Re: DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
I was in trouble from the moment stitch's alpha strike took out my forward shields and weapons - from then on I had to try and cover the unshielded areas of the ship, and angle the weapons I had left at the Leeroy, which I'm sure made the conn rolls more difficult. What I should have done on that first conn roll was jump to warp, and get myself enough breathing room in case the cloak didn't work.

Re: DITL Battle #7 Stitch vs Seafort
Yeah, if you had warped, the worst that could have happened is your cloak fails, I warp in (but can't fire) and we repeat.
I'm glad you didn't warp...

ya, and your conn rolls once you were cloaked kinda failed as well, you stayed in exactly the same spot twice in a row wasn't it.

If you and Seafort would like, I've got all of your orders, and rolls here (I have a note card system for cataloging each round), I could post some of them if you wanted.
