Which series of BSG did you think was best?

Oh man, the new series is so far and away better than the old that it's almost laughable to compare them.

Indeed, I think this video demonstrates why quite nicely. :)

The new one is definately better. Although the old one has its charm, it can not compare to the new one.

I've never watched the 1980 spin-off, although from what I've gathered, even hard-core purists of the original who refuse to accept the new one don't even like the 1980 show.

You are one very lucky person!

Well, it seems no one is voting for the original. Can't say I'm too surprised.

I have one major complaint about the TOS BSG - Laser Torpedoes, how the frak do they work?

The Gal - 1980 before my time, never seen it.

nBSG, now thats worth it, understandable tech, and it lets my "lets build a Defiant" ideas out (small ship, large guns)

*sticks hand up*

I've seen a fair few episodes of the 1st season of nBSG, and got the whole original series on DVD, and while the new one is a good sci-fi series, it's not BSG - the old one had a sense of fun that, while at odds with the premise of humanity being destroyed, made it a great space opera. And the old series had Steed in it. 8)

Yeah, the old one is best when not taken seriously. It had some funny bits.

The new one is better than the one with Lorne Greene.
