Caprica S1E09: "End Of Line" (spoilers)

And so we hit the mid-season episode, bringing us to a break until autumn. And it's certainly moved things forwards. This episode has one hell of a body count.
We get the first human death to a Cylon hand. Poor Philomon, he was a nice guy.
Caprica's military heads are aware that Graystone stole the MCP from Vergis.
Clarice barely avoids getting blown up by Barnabus' car bomb.
Amanda commits suicide.
Zoe seemingly commits suicide at the same time.
Joeseph Adama gets "killed" by Tamara in New Cap City.
We also get some shots of helicopter analogues, which look suspiciously like the HKs from Terminator.
That's the only image I could find of them, unfortunately. We can see two distinct types. The one on the right is smaller and sleeker, while the one on the left is bigger and bulky. Given their respective paint schemes, I'm guessing the one on the right is a police "helicopter" (what do you call those things anyway?) while the one on the right is a military one.
We also see some Caprican Army troops for a brief moment. They seem equipped similarly to modern day troops. Interestingly, some of them seemed to be holding what I think were some sort of lever-action rifles. Some sort of specialised anti-material weapon, perhaps?
Also, just what the hell do the Capricans fill their cars up with? The size of the explosion from Zoe's truck flipping over and slamming into the ground is insane!
All in all, a good episode. It's moved things along quickly and nicely, and it's given us some stuff to think about before it comes back (why are more and more shows recently doing these fucking mid-series breaks anyway?).
