J'allez la biblioteque avec des pommes frites et des haricots verts.

Yes, I know what that means; but people who don't speak French think it sounds awesome.

And yeah, my conjugation was very probably wrong. I really was just making a bit of a joke. I don't care too much how correct it is.

Now, per your suggestion, "devil chicken" may make for a good name...

Should try 'Devil Chicken' in latin. Latin is the gold standard for making silly things sound cool.

Also, what does 'I go the library' mean? :P Aside from using the second person plural conjugation instead of the first person singular...

Hehe, i liked it. Sounds kinda cool, what with the diablo bit, and spanish is automatically sexy.. and the chicken bit puts a dampner on it =P

besides, i doubt that people out on the outer ring on a border between pretty much every alien's territory are going to speak Spanish, let along English. Thats something ive allways thought about.. humans have English and French and German and Spanish.. are there other languages for the Klingon people, for example, other than the one they use on the show?

My Latin is admittedly rusty, but I believe it would "pullus diabolus."

And the phrase means "I go to the library with French fries and green beans." There's no hidden meaning; it's as nonsensical as it sounds. But people who don't speak French think it sounds really cool when spoken.

My point was that you were missing the 'à' which is 'to', so what you wrote was 'I go the library' with a bad conjugation. 'Je vais à la bibliothèque' is correct.

Sorry, I know this is irrelevant, but I started learning French a few months after turning three. Seeing that kind of grammatical mistake is as automatic in French as it is in English.

Yes, it's a joke. It seemed like a good one given the forum and the discussion that had just happened.

And anything with Chicken should be discarded. Chickens don't even fly.

Could people make a list of all their serious suggestions? Then I'll take a look through them and decide.

Exactly! It wouldn't be ironic if we used a bird that really could fly.

In all seriousness, though, perhaps a mythological figure? Aias, Siegfried, Horus, or something like that?

I like to consider things a little bit more obscure, but in that vein, how about the Brynhilde?

A famous Valkyrie. That would work. Although the name isn't elegant, it is simple and relatively unique.

Well, I'm not sure how the name was rendered in the Icelandic of the Eddas. Maybe there's a prettier-sopunding version of it. Any amateur Teutonic/Scandinavian mythologists out there?
