Re: New rank system proposal

Post by Graham Kennedy »

I drew them myself; they're based on the rank symbols that Memory Alpha has for NCOs in the DS9 era, which I gather are based on the pips Chief O'Brien came to wear when they finally decided what rank he was once and for all. The crewman one I made up, since I couldn't find even a non-canon rank pip for that.

I'm jealous of those who get new rank pips! I like the new system. I might have to go out and find a pic for my sig to satiate my desire to express myself

I was thinking that itd be neat if we could earn decorations and medals. They could come from winning contests, like one for ship design, another for fanfic, " caption comps, sudden death, etc.

Has this been an historic moment? Has the ENTIRE active forum voted unanimously on something? Will this go down in history as a fluke? I'm still stunned.

Will the new rank pictures be that big below the person's avatar? Maybe they should be shrunk a tad?

None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Yes, they will but they're few and far between so it shouldn't matter too much. We'll see how it goes.

Alrighty. I guess size doesn't matter but I like to imagine that it does.

I think the rest of my sentence covered that well enough.
