Booze and strippers
The thought just occurred to me this morning: there is almost no doubt that we, by far, have the most usage of the phrase "booze and strippers" of any Star Trek sites around.

Maybe there's material for a new poll. "Which Star Trek site uses the phrase "booze and strippers" most frequently?"Mikey wrote:The thought just occurred to me this morning: there is almost no doubt that we, by far, have the most usage of the phrase "booze and strippers" of any Star Trek sites around.

Re: New Moderators
na, I can see the poll already:
DITL: 1,999,886; 99.9943%
Ex Astris: 100; 0.005%
MA: 12; .0006%
TOST: 2; .0001%

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Re: New Moderators
This subject requires serious research!
After checking the forums of various sites and running searches on "booze" and "strippers", I've found the following number of matches:
DITL
Booze: 81
Strippers: 16
SCN:
Booze: ~30 (their shitty search engine doesn't seem to have a counter on it)
Strippers: 14
Memory Alpha forums
Booze: 0
Strippers: 0
(what is wrong with these people?)
Trek BBS
Booze: 200
Strippers: 59
SDN (sorta a Trek site)
Booze: 1454
Strippers: 327
Comrades, these numbers are simply unacceptable. We are falling behind in the booze and strippers race!

Re: New Moderators
As long as there is enough booze and strippers that I get a few of each, I don't care!

Sigs don't show up on searches, AFAIK.

Re: New Moderators
Would anyone be willing to trade my booze for they're strippers???

Sure. I'll be done in a minute.
Anyway, I think what we're overlooking is that we don't just talk about booze and strippers - we act.

Re: New Moderators
Well we could have a day where everybody has to work the phrase "booze and strippers" in every single thing they post...

I hereby declare tomorrow, Friday the 16th, to be DITL's National "Booze and Strippers" day.

Isnt everyday "booze and strippers" day?
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: New Moderators
Ah, but tomorrow it's official. I'm not sure how that differs from normal days, but I think it means we all get to wear big pompous hats while discussing the aforementioned booze and strippers.
