Ultimate champion

Post by Meste17 »

So I have been looking at the Vesta and comparing it to the Sovereign class. Someone mentioned on here that it's more like comparing the Constellation to the Constitution-class Enterprise, rather than comparing the Excelsior to the Enterprise, so it has me contemplating, is the Vesta class truly THE most powerful ship that the Federation Starfleet has, once and for all?

I am aware of the ship but not the stats for the ship.

What makes you think the Vesta is the most powerful?

Think about it. The Vesta IS the first Federation starship that is actually OUTFITTED, NOT refitted, with Quantum Slipstream technology. She is about the same size as the USS Enterprise-E, and has about the same type of weaponry, with the exception of the Mark XII phaser cannons, which to me suggests a type of Defiant-class technology. Also, since she was commissioned in the 2380s and the Enterprise-E was introduced somewhat of a decade earlier ....

And it might suggest to me that she could be so powerful that, as they did with Excelsior class ships, people such as Starfleet Admirals would want to use these types as flagships, and, as for certain ships like the Enterprises and ships of the line, Captains would want to lobby for command of these vessels.

I wouldnt want the best ship. I'd want an Intrepid or Nova.

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Speaking from experience, I can ONLY SOMETIMES say yes. However, as I am always honest with people, I will say no as I see your point as it is not always the most likely situation sometimes. However, if I was a Starfleet Admiral, and seeing as how to quote Riker, from AGT, "one of the advantages of being an admiral is you get to choose your own ship," I would personally go for the best ships that the fleet has, yes.

I apologize for the confusion.

I'd definitely go for a Galaxy X or something like that.
