Post by Teaos »

This came up n my facebook news feed, apparently they had a vote on the Star Trek FB page and this was voted as the fans best person for each position...

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

It lost all credibility with Janeway.

Amazingly Voyager seems to the more popular Trek show. Seems like the casual viewer likes Voyager.

Or at least it appears that way to me.

If "casual" means "completely shit faced before they start watching", that's understandable. To be fair, the Doc's a shoe-in as CMO, so it's not a complete loss.

I think Voyager is more easily watchable as a mindless drama than the other series.

Its also the most recent mainstream one as Enterprise never got into the public mind.

Voyager is the most recent, popular Trek series.

But seriously, fuck that list.

Cap: Sisko
Sci: Jadzia (Dax is an awesome source of experience on information)
Engineer: Scotty (gets shit done)
Doctor: Doctor (With Mobile Emiter)
Security: Odo (Changeling ftw)
Comm: Hoshi (On paper she is very qualified and with proper leadership AKA Sisko would be very good)
Wild Card: Data
1st Officer: Riker (Proved he has what it takes in BOBW)

Captain : Picard. Sorry, he's just BETTER.
XO/Science Officer : Spock. Nobody beats Spock at science, period. And he's a damn good First Officer, too.
Engineer : Scotty. The genius improviser who can make anything do anything.
Doctor : Bashir. Genetically enhanced intellect, just shy of a miracle worker in his field.
Security : Odo. Changeling skills are perfect for security.
Communications : Sato. By far the most skilled communications officer we've seen, once she got over the wussiness.
Helm : Sulu. Just because... it wouldn't be the Enterprise without a Sulu at the helm.
Tactical/Ops : Data. I want android reflexes on my tactical console please.
