Star Trek The Next Generation may be over 20 years old, but apparently it is still relevant enough for it to garner a brand new parody film, but a rather unusual one. Adult film makers Revolution X and Digital sin have announced they will soon start production on "Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody". Details below.

On the heels of their award-winning release of the original "The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody," Revolution X and Digital Sin have gained a following for creating high-end, sci-fi adult movies. For the parody of “Star Trek: The Next Generation," director Sam Hain secured an impressive cast, including several self-proclaimed Trekkie porn stars.
A Captain Picard look-alike who is a mainstream actor will lead the cast on their voyage through space when the movie begins filming later this month.
Hain said, “As a fan of the ‘X-Files,’ my admiration for the show led to a demand for perfection. … I’m an even bigger fan of ‘Star Trek.’ Directing this project is a dream come true. We’re going to take adult film to a new realm of possibilities.”
Scott Taylor, president of Revolution X and Digital Sin, remarked, “Sam continues to prove he is one of the best in the industry at handling large budgets and brilliant FX visual effects. ‘The Next Generation’ will be one of our biggest movies ever, and I know Sam will create something equally embraced by consumers and critics.”
Porn parodies of Star Trek are nothing new. In the 1990s there were quite a few, including films in the "Sex Trek" series (more info at Memory Alpha). It appears that the renewal of interest in Star Trek that started with the 2009 Star Trek movie has had an unintended consequence, spawning brand new porn parodies. In 2009 Hustler released a porn parody of the original Star Trek series titled "This Ain’t Star Trek XXX", which apparently sold well enough that in 2010 they released a sequel . Both of the Hustler parodies included a ‘non-porn’ version of the film, for those who just wanted to watch the parody for the plot and without any adult material. Revolution X tells TrekMovie that their Next Generation parody will also have a porn-free version of the film included on the DVD.
