Well I consider that part of the previously mentioned "Yesssss!" moment, in fact a big part of it. The sick bay conversation was just the sprinkles on the cake.SolkaTruesilver wrote:sorry, but the best was:Tsukiyumi wrote:Lighthawk wrote:Garek: If I had been a bit closer, it would have killed me.

Hum... I think another of my favourite "Yes!!!" was in "Soldiers of the Empire", DS9.
The Klingons singing to battle, with Martok finally recovered his confidence and lust for battle. That was epic!

One each from the films of the trilogy: the E-nil rising up behind Reliant, the Excelsior stalling, and Bounty versus the whaler.

Another good nominee, if we except the fact that Kirk had no idea to do it until Spock hit him over the head with "Ye Olde Tome of Common Sense."Captain Seafort wrote:E-nil rising up behind Reliant

Could be really mean and pick Wes being stabbed in the backin Hide and Q.
I'll go with Kirk using Reliants prefix code to order her shields down. Was Kirks silly fault they were in that mess of course, but it was a great escape.

Indeed, which is why I'm referring specifically to that moment rather than to the rather obvious "duck underneath them" tactic.Mikey wrote:Another good nominee, if we except the fact that Kirk had no idea to do it until Spock hit him over the head with "Ye Olde Tome of Common Sense."

Re: Your favourite Trek 'Yessss!' moment?
Gotta admit though, it was a good bit of timing on Kirks part. Once Spock pointed out Khans thinking, Kirk managed to drop the ship down, and pop up in a prime firing position. And I do love that battle.

Also from 'The Doomsday Machine' where Kirk's beamed off pretty much at the last possible moment and the Constellation explodes, destroying it from within.

General Chang's Bird O' Prey getting pummeled in UC. Sulu "Target that explosion!" I damn near jumped out of my seat when that scene came around.

Ach, noo' a problem Mark, I believe that the second part of this posting was seconding of the Connie sliding up behind the Reliant in the nebula battle and raking her syern galleries.
