I don't know why, but it's one of the reasons I like Sisko the most as a captain. 1) because he will devote himself to his task and 2) knows when he's done shit wrong.

I know I'm probably going with the trite answers here, but I have to say 'em:

As one of my candidates, I'll second Reliants proposal and add another from the same episode:
