Favorite child character

Post by Nickswitz »

Everyone is saying how they hate the children of Star Trek, I would like to know who everyone's favorite children characters were.

Mine would probably be um... IDK, I don't really know any I like....

Naomi Wildman. She's nearly the ONLY non-uber child on the show.

I would have to agree Mark, she was annoying as all get out, but she wasn't too bad, and she wasn't even smart...

Agreed. She was (save for her rapid growth) normal.

Also, Nog wasn't too bad, once he grew up... ok matured. Though at that point I think he leaves childhood.

I liked the way Jake Sisko eventually developed -- he was not a carbon copy "i'm gonna grow up and be in Starfleet like my daddy!" (like wesley and virtually every other child of that age we've seen on the show) --- he actually did something different.

As well as Nog, once he matured (for lack of a better word)

Naomi Wildman here too. Seemed like an actual child. With all the limitations there of.

None of them. Though if I had to pick one: Naomi.

Jake and Nog weren't perfect, matured and I actually liked both of them.

Naomi wasn't too bad. And actually, i liked the Borg kids. I wanted to see more of them and have them stay on the ship.

If i was presented with no option but to choose, then I would choose Naomi.

Miles kid was okay, by that I mean not annoying. And that episode where she starred was pretty good, showing her going wild.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Jake Sisko. A good solid believable character, and I loved his relationship with his father.

Nog. Probably showed more and better character development than anybody else in Star Trek history. Who would look at the Ferengi thief locked in a holding cell in episode one and think that he would end up as a Starfleet war hero?!

Well I didn't.

I'd agree that Jake Sisko is my favorite. Though I guess that would be pushing it.
