She was the helmswoman? Yeah, that sucked. Hmm, Tom Paris or her... hmm...

See, they wouldn't have even have had to have changed the Torres/Helmsman thing either.

Me neither, but still, better than Paris...

Well that's not the most flattering picture. Still that's mostly what I was getting at, better than Paris.

You know who had great potential but died to soon from VOY? Suder. Great character, great actor.

Aye, he was an interesting character. They could have done a lot with him.

Thirded. Brad Dourif is awesome.

Agreed - and even beyond the character and the acting, the dude's eyes I found rather scary... there was something about those big, black eyes that just fed the disturbed nature of [the character's] psyche. Anyone else get that feeling?

I liked Suder too and was really sad when he died. Considering what stunts certain members of that crew pulled later on in hindsight he even doesn't look that mad.

Hell, the ship was run by a murderous psychopath. Maybe she just didn't want competition.

Thing is, the eyes only indicated his Betazoid heritage. Dourif was more than capable of showing huge psychological imbalance thorugh his eyes without cosmetic enhancement (c.f. Dune.)
