Character that SHOULD have been reoccuring
Character that SHOULD have been reoccuring
To flip the box on the other thread, who are some of the characters that we only saw once (or MAYBE twice) that we would have liked to see reappear in the series?
For me, Charlie X would have been a welcome return as well as Gary Mitchell (muhahahaha). I could never understand how a simple rockslide was supposed to have killed him.
Same standard rules apply.....each nomination must be seconded to BE a nomination.

Ensigns Robin Lefler and Sonya Gomez. Could have used some engineering bunnies on the show.

Ugh, no. Sorry, but I really didn't like that character.Mark wrote:Charlie X

I would have loved to see what some "maturing" would have done to him. Have him reappear in TNG as an advisary to Q maybe.

Roga Danar, he kicked Riker, Worf and O'Briens arse at once and made the entire crew look like idiots. I'd have loved a follow up.

Or Starfleet recruits him as a trainer.

Can I nominate the Voth?
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.

Re: Character that SHOULD have been reoccuring
I'm a big proponent of establishing a B list crew. People like Nurse Ogawa, Chief O'Brien, and Keiko. People who aren't there every episode but show up from time to time. For instance in an Engineering heavy episode you'd see Lefler and Gomez working in there with Geordi but if the episode only requires a quick shot of Engineering you probably wouldn't. Establish that the ship isn't a revolving door and that there are people consistently showing up who you've seen before. Maybe give them two or three episodes a season, that center on them. That sort of thing.Tsukiyumi wrote:Seconded.Tyyr wrote:Ensigns Robin Lefler and Sonya Gomez. Could have used some engineering bunnies on the show.

Lefler and Danar seconded.
And Gary Seven.
