I'll second all three of them, and add Winn; she was such an awful character that I had to love Louise Fletcher's performance even more.Reliant121 wrote:I was wondering what our favourite characters where that just cropped up now and then in the odd episode.

I like Lwaxana Troi because of all the mirth and merriment she usually causes and also Vash because she's the perfect MILF

She can't be a MILF. I don't see her as the childbearing type.thelordharry wrote:Vash because she's the perfect MILF
She's hot, though.

Re: Favourte recurring characters?
Garak was awesome but he was almost a main cast member.
I'll go for Q.

What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Re: Favourte recurring characters?
I see Garak as a minor character that become more of a major character. Like O'brian. Speaking of which, O'brian in TNG.

Re: Favourte recurring characters?
Gotta go with Shran, single best character in Enterprise and that's meant as actual praise, not a backhanded insult.
Mayweather wasn't a recurring character. He was furniture.

Re: Favourte recurring characters?
He had a couple of really good lines.
"Aye Captain."
"Yes Ma'am"
"Pedal to the metal, Commander." (Oh wait was that.........ahh, close enough)

Re: Favourte recurring characters?
All joking aside, you gotta feel bad for the actor. Guy is a main cast character on a TV show with a four year run (which is actually better than probably 95% of TV shows out there) and he's got literally nothing to put on a resume. The fucking dog got more attention than he did.
Re: Favourte recurring characters?
They gave him a couple of pity episodes in the first season. But by season three, nothing. I guess they figured "how interesting can a helmsman be".

They managed it with Tom. Sure he was annoying as hell, ugly, and stupid, but at least he actually had a character.
