I personnally think that the only ship which isn't a total failure is the Excalibur-class. It is a rather well done hommage to the Constitution but still I reserve judgement until I see her from a few different angles. What seems obvious is that the ships seem to lack detail and there are quite a few who look kitbashed.

The game is set about 30-40 years after Nemesis which means that all familar ships - even Sovereigns for example - are now old or in need of refits and the new designs....well, judge for yourself. I remain highly sceptical but hopefully I will be proven wrong.

I agree; the NX-91001 just looks like a lazily tweaked Sovereign, and the Oslo looks like an Akira mated with a Norway.

Hmm...much wank I sense in this. I wonder if they'll be able to break into the WoW/EVE Online monopoly though.

Edit: Love how the Feds have a bunch of new ships but the rest are still using the same old stuff.

Well it's nice to know they didn't waste a lot of money on ship design.

That second one looks like a Power ranger robot.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Yeah, it forms the... left arm, I think.

Everyone knows that only the good guys advance in tech. That is why the Feds will rule the universe. Benevolently of course.

Is there a release date yet?

Good point - will the Romulans even have the Norexan in this?

I was excited about this game. Now after seeing these ships I have no enthusiasm about it at all. If they want me to pay $15 a month in perpetuity to play this game I need to have a decent looking ship to do it in. These abortions will not cut it.
