There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

As Stitch points out, the Intrepid saucer has a small deflector dish on the front. But you have inspired me to make a new thread about deflectors.Tsukiyumi wrote:I'll second that. Where's the damn deflector!?

I vote for the Galaxy and Constiution original.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

I'll second the GCS, Norway, Defiant, Prometheus, Keldon, Intrepid and Constitution original designs.
I would like to nominate the Borg Cube, Sydney and Constellation classes.

Saucer? What saucer? You mean the top half of a space dildo?Lazar wrote: As Stitch points out, the Intrepid saucer ....
I second the Intrepid.
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel.

Re: Ugliest ship designs
I'm voting for the Defiant. It looks really cool, it's a wonderful concept, and it's ALMOST right, but it should be 300 m long, and the weapons need to look much more beefy in proportion to the hull. Even though it looks good in its own right, every time I see it I just wince and mentally substitute the much cooler Defiant that exists inside my head.
