1) TWOK
2) XI
3) FC
and the rest as 'also rans'.
TUC? Also ran?
TWOK and XI were close, very close but ultimately, Nero was no Khan and that's what did it.
At least he was a damn sight better than the last villain to "rival Khan".
OK, TUC was the fastest 'also ran'
Who was the last villain to "rival Khan" then? Not the Ferengi, please???

I see, I see And the penny drops
That punk guy on the bus in The Voyage Home was a better villain than Shinzon!!!
I hate you and I BERATE YOU!

He was also the associate producer of the movie!

Hell, I was worried when I first heard of the plot.
"Picard's evil clone that no one ever knew about takes over the Romulan Empire and goes to destroy Earth with his planet-busting supership of evil!"
"You've all been selected for this mission because you each have a special skill. Professor Hawking, John Leslie, Phil Neville, the Wu-Tang Clan, Usher, the Sugar Puffs Monster and Daniel Day-Lewis! Welcome to Operation MindFuck!"
Truthfully, 10/11 could probably be interchanged. I don't think STV is as awful as people say as a movie, but instead is just dragged down as tons of YATI. Star Trek: The Motion Picture still puts me to sleep. I know people consider it to be a "cereberal" movie in the spirit of 2001, but I found 2001 to be a pretentious pile of excrement not worthy of Kubric's genius. Honestly, its my least favorite movie of his, by FAR. The Motion Picture has its moments, but it could have been done in a 2 part episode or even a one parter if you really wanted to pack it in. At nearly 2:30, it dragged.
I LOVED Star Trek 11 but I'm not about to put it past those first four which I've enjoyed so many times. I will revisit 11 when it's on DVD and see where it ranks, but I still think its too soon for me to accurately rate it.
Don't you hear my call, though you're many years away, don't you hear me calling you?
