Did you second middle name come from being confirmed? I know a few people with no middle name.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

My second one did. I rarely use it, though.
There is only one way of avoiding the war – that is the overthrow of this society. However, as we are too weak for this task, the war is inevitable. -L. Trotsky, 1939

No, I was never confirmed. My two middle names are from two of my great grandfathers, to placate both sides of the family. I'm fine with the combination though - it flows well. OTOH my dad doesn't have any middle name.

It's unusual not to have a middle name. Usually, it's the first name of the parent. My old man's name is John and my middle name is John. My sister has no middle name but I think that might be due to her being called the same first name as my mother. Having two Gabrielles in the family is very confusing

Yeah, a lot of people in my father's family have done that.

My middle name is of my Granfather's on my Dad's side. First name is just a name my Mom liked. My brother is named after my Dad's favorite guitarist and middle name is my Mom's favorite author.
