A fair bit of TOS was spent scuttling around the Beta Quadrant, so I hear. The Ferengi are out by Cardie space. In the Alpha Quadrant.

OOU, the Ferengi were a result of (yet again) Roddenberry wanting something new for TNG, they were supposed to be the new baddies.

That would make sense, Kendall. The Enterprise was patrolling the Romulan and Klingong Borders, the 'hot zones', and that's in/close to the Beta Quadrant.

I chalk it up to there being a fair number of younger people on the board. It seems people have a fondness for the series that was on when they grew up (TOS for me).

I thought enterprise was...okay. the 4th series was very good. But the rest was the epitomy of 'meh'. So i'd take Voyager over it. but DS9 wins all for me ^^

I grew up with TNG but I loved DS9. Still, when voting for who was best I had to say TOS.

In British usage, "series" is synonymous with both "series" and "season" in the American usage.

We have one vote for TAS (which I can't comment on since I've never seen it) and NONE for Voyager.

Well, at least we have some priorities right.

To be fair, Enterprise deserves to be rated higher than Voyager thanks to redeeming itself to a limited extent in season 4, and showing promise of improving further had it been given a fifth season.

True. With Season 4, that makes ENT roughly 1/4 good.
VOY was just 7/7 crap.
