SF Debris Reviews "V: The Miniseries"

Post by Nutso »

This is the V from the 1980's starring the Beast Master.
Part 1
V (1983) Night 1 Review

A look at the classic eighties miniseries. Flying saucers suddenly appear all over the world, but because Roland Emmerich isn't involved they are a bit more subtle than blowing up everything in sight.

The special effects may have dated, but its still scary at times and the first sight of one of the Visitor ships floating slowly through the sky still looks incredible.

And, of course, Michael Ironside.

Night 2
The conclusion of the original Miniseries. The Visitors true agenda is revealed, the Resistance launches its first major offensive, and everyone whose lives are touched by the Maxwells has shitty things happen to them.
