Hmm, I have got to get started on some more of those spin-offs from the main fic. As well as get some of the others updated. This is starting to get me in the mood to write a bit more.

Seafort.....Scotty isn't always a pleasent drunk. A roomful of Klingons will attest to that.

True, but belting a gobby Klingon pales besides Solo's typical reaction.

You know the best part? Scotty got to fight that same fight twice........with O'Brian helping him out the second time around.

Of course Han has an advantage. Forget the blaster.....he's got a wookie.

Han was the only one to shoot. ;)
Hence the extremely short duration of said fight.
And for geedo, I heard in a book or something the bartender turned him into an ale.

Ground him up to be the special spice in a custom drink he was making for Jabba.

Reminds me of "Human horn," from Futurama. In a galaxy spanning civilization with millions of sapient species at least ONE of them has to taste delicious.

Heh....I've started one two different times. A TNG/oBSG crossover in which a Federation Starship doing deep research WAY in the Beta Quadrent detects an old, decrepit, ragtag fleet moving at lightspeed. It goes to investigate and find the Battlestar Galactica (timeframe after the oBSG books by Richard Hatch), and Commander Apollo in the lead.

Story was supposed to chronical an average Fed crew in an older ship, suddenly thrust into the role of protector and guardian against the Cylons. Can they bloody the Cylons noses enough to make them listen to reason? Will they be forced to wipe them out? And with them over a year away from Fed space at top warp, how do they get that many men, women, children, and daggits to saftey?

The trouble with oBSG is figuring out its speed - depending on which quotes you use, their range is either barely interstellar or intergalactic.

Agreed. That was one of the problems I'm having. Thus I'm "averaging" between the two series, in a manner of speaking. In the books, they picked up a wormhole style FTL system, and we've seen that a Battlestar (ie the Pegesus) can "get her up to lightspeed" for combat manuvering, thus I'm figuring that with those wormhole drives and jumps similar to nBSG, is may begin to work.

I was trying to plot a location of the colonies and cylon homeworlds, but I can't come up with a good reason why the Klingons or Romulans didn't already find them, and subjegate them.

Mark, if you want any help, I'm more than willing to lend a hand in this. Sounds intriguing. :)

And yes, foxfyre. I'm working on it. 'Aggressive Negotiations' has been most fun, but I'm stalling a bit on 'Measure of a Droid'. :( Legal dramas are not my cup of tea.

Plan on me taking you up on that Stiker. The main reason I'm doing oBSG over nBSG is a better fit. Plus, oBSG has more advanced weapons.

I know a bit about oBSG. I loved that cheesiness. :D The opening narration was pretty epic, too.

Plus you can imagine Starbuck joining in the poker game and getting on great with everyone. If Kara Thrace was involved it would end much the same as with that arsehole alien in Liaisons.
