And this is why when it comes to my crossovers, I focus on character and not conflict. Well, to a certain extent. ;)

It's like when the PTB were asked how heisenburg compensators worked. "They work very well." perfect answer, there.

So, how about those upgraded inertial dampeners?
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

[painfully obvious attempt to change topic] How bout them booze and strippers?

How is that a change of topic? This is DITL - booze and strippers are a perpetual part of all threads, whether mentioned or not.

They work very well, too! Scotty and Han had a great time putting them onto the Falcon.

Methinks Scotty and Han would have had a better time with the booze and strippers.

Scotty, yes. Han, being married to Leia, might not wanna risk her wrath. ;)

Although I had a friend do a 'Gone Before' spinoff where Han, Scotty and O'Brien went bar crawling for Saint Patty's Day.

"Might" not want to risk the wrath of Darth Vader's daughter? That's the understatement of the decade.

Where? Aberdeen, Temple Bar or Treasure Ship Row?

Actually, the location wasn't mentioned. It was just a short piece of the three sitting down and discussing the day, its origins and how it's mainly a reason to get drunk off one's arse.

Although Han does question why it's get drunk off your arse when you usually end up on it.

Probably due to the difficulty involved in aiming your arse at the chair.

I'll have to take your word on that. ;) I've never been drunk.

And slightly more serious, that is my preferred franchise interaction. Having a spot of fun together, not trying to... compensate. ;)

So, how long did it take before the bar fight?

Why do assume there was a bar fight? Han Solo was involved, and the one known instance of him getting into a fight in a bar lasted about a millisecond.

han did not shoot first.

Han was the only one to shoot. ;)

No bar fight, either. just a good time for the three men.

Hence the extremely short duration of said fight.
