Just got it off Facebook. They're doing a second season.

I'm surprised they left it this long to announce. Though it's good to hear they aren't trying to cram every answer to every plotline into one episode.

I'm not. The creative team was obviously planning on more than this one miniseries; but this is commercial TV. I'm sure final approval to continue was dependent on focus groups, analysis of the cost-effectiveness of commercial time, commitments to future purchases from advertisers, etc.

I guess Ana isn't as emotionless as she would have liked to think she was. she flipped out!

I think next season could be really amazing if they play their cards right.

Why did they bring Joshua back? Wasn't he who they thought was the traitor all along?

I'm really confused.

There's a strong implication that just wearing the human skin and being exposed to them seems to affect the aliens.

Being exposed to the humans would make sense.

I found it a bit creepy that he smiled while he was saying it.

Now I had supposed that her was her direct telepathic contact with Ryan that brought on the emotions.

And, hooray -

We finally got to see a V eating a mammal!

So, we have some things to sort out next season:
Which way will Hobbes go?
Did Ryan really get converted back into the fold?
What will happen to Chad?

That's a good point. She had been in contact with him right before this. Still, that's not the excuse the other V's can use but maybe being exposed like that can jump start the process.

I'll be honest, when Chad got sent to see what happened to the live aboards I was sort of hoping he see a human being eaten.

I suspect he'll go V initially and change of heart about mid season.

At the very least Anna's got her claws back into him.

What will happen to Chad?

I dunno, but when they cured his imaginary future anuerism and he bought it I think his credentials as an investigative reporter were proven.

I expect something along the lines of: he'll play along with Marcus, only to reveal at the end of next season that he's been playing Marcus all along.

Well, I'm assuming he'll change his tune about the V's now, and when he does, Annas gonna tear him a new one - either professionally, physically, or both.
