Next episode, we have a bounty hunter going to cause trouble. "The Dog" from space.
They say that in the Army,
the women are mighty fine.
They look like Phyllis Diller,
and walk like Frankenstein.

It's not that the Asgard are uninterested. They just can't spare the resources at this point, being busy with a far worse enemy, which Mark will encounter at the end of this season. :)

Great enemy too. Varthikes, our crossover RP is fighting them right now. Don't know if you're into RP but you might want to check out since our flagship is a Asgard ship :p

Mark I'm curious what your thoughts on them are.

I was kind of disappointed Seth wasn't a bigger character. He's about as evil as you can get in Egyptian Mythology.
Apophis wasn't exactly a beacon of light in their mythology either. :P

True. Slightly off topic- $50 says within 20 years there will be an 'Apophis' movie.

Ok, WTF. Apophis is back from the dead, looking like the Phantom of the Opera? I mean, I could see it coming when they said they could revive him, but they actually DID it. And it seems he learned how to fight too.

And Jackson doesn't seem TOO torn up over losing his wife, since he was slipping it to that nut job in the next episode!

well by that time you could assume that he's come to terms with the fact that she's dead, he made huge strides over it in the episode she died.

I think...The Gou'auld was trying to kill him, while his wife input a memory/thought so he would look for her son, then Teal'c killed her before Danial could be killed. At the beginning he was pissed at Teal'c for killing her, and trying to make sense of the memory, by the end he'd basicly forgiven Teal'c, and had decided to rejoin the SGC. It's probably reasonable to assume that by the time of that Apophis episode, he was a fair bit more comfortable with the fact, and had accepted that at least now she wasn't being controlled and enslaved by the Gou'auld any more.

I guess, but it still seems rather quick. Like, the very next episode.

Besides, she became one of my favorite characters with her full frontal nude sceen in the pilot :happydevil:
