Great question, in a way arent Elves good orcs?
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

In a way, yes. But Orcs have been described as Elves tortured, twisted, and turned by Morgoth into his servants and army. So Orcs are more Elves than Elves are Orcs. I make the assumption that should Morgoth return, he can corrupt Elves once more and turn them into Orcs, but no one, save Eru Illuvatar, can turn an Orc into an Elf.

Anyway, a good Orc may not yet exist but, maybe in time without Dark Lords, some of them may begin questioning their own natures. However, considering the 3000 years the Orcs lived without Sauron, yet they remained evil creatures, this would be unlikely. If it happens, it would be at the individual level.

There has to be something more to the creation of orcs than Melkor's influence... otherwise Saruman wouldn't have been able to create Uruk-Hai. That said, in any event the creation of orcs is quite obviously dependent on the active application of intent by someone with evil purposes. A "good" orc couldn't exist, because the creation of an orc is specifically tied in to the inmixture of evil.
