I am not sure Cavill would refuse 007 instead of doing underperforming movies with the most boring super hero ever.

Cavill did Napolean Solo and although I thought he was decent in it, the movie bombed. I can't imagine the Hollywood machine would look kindly on him playing Bond after that.

He is doing a spy again in Mission Impossible.

Maybe everyone will forget that Man fron Uncle that I never heard of...

Did he? I haven't seen it, but I can't imagine anyone but Robert Vaughn as Solo.

If Bond 25 is to pick up the Craig/Casino Royale and on arc, it just seems like Bond can't have nice things. In this case, it would figure that a second love would have to be taken from him as he was shown literally walking away from MI6 on the bridge at the end of Spectre and into the arms of his lady.

Of course, that kind of thing has been a major driver of Craig's Bond from the start.
