Star Trek Solo Movie

Post by Talondor »

All the series have had episodes where one character is featured with very little air-time given to the rest of the ensemble, which usually happens just at the beginning and end of the show.

But is there any character, from any of the incarnations of Star Trek, that could carry a mainstream movie by himself (or herself)? The only one I can think of is maybe Bashir. Possibly getting entangled in a Section-31 operation. But I doubt he is well known enough to the general public for a studio to greenlight a project.

Garak. Spy, assassin, tailor. Seeks most the approval of his father.

Judging by the Klingon-centric story arcs in both TNG and DS9, I say Worf.

I'm not sure if could be a full film, but I'd be interested in seeing how the medical professionals got their training. Imagine the species they'd need to see in their intern and resident rotations, not to mention all the anatomy/afflictions/disorders pertaining to each sub grouping. I thought of this, after hearing Karl Urban mention delivering Gorn octuplets, and thinking "hey, I'd like to see what happened there!"
