Did you see the BBC miniseries of that from a while back? They basically were looking for something to do with their CGI dinosaurs after the Walking With Dinosaurs series.

It's a pretty decent take on it.
I did not, thank you. Will give it a go.

I'm in for a Gill Man aka Creature from the Black Lagoon remake. After the miserable Mummy with the teeny tiny Tom Cruise, I have reservations about how the entire Dark Universe will be carried out. I wonder where in the list Gill Man will fall? I believe Frankenstein is next.

I don’t see the CBL as part of a consistent milieu with any other film or literature franchises.

They're gonna make it one, unless the plans have changed. The organisation we saw in the Mummy, Prodigium, had a CBL hand in a jar in their building. My guess is that the mission to investigate the creature will be a Prodigium operation in the remake.

Forget it, then. I don’t want it at that price.

Well, there's this movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFYWazblaUA
It's not CBL, but it does look pretty good.

Meh. Looks alright, but probably got Del Toro-d.
