Hmmmm. Not sure if impressed.

Hmm... She doesn't seem to have a couple of the attributes I think of when I think of that character...

...but I suppose neither did Angelina Jolie.

Apparently these days the character in the games is of more "realistic" proportions. For... reasons, I guess. I dunno.

The only exposure I have to that franchise is this:

I think I'm gonna keep it that way. ;)

I've enjoyed Alicia Vikander throughout the years, and hope she can make a go of Lady Croft.

I just can't figure out, why Tomb Raider? The games are largely forgotten, and I don't remember the Angelina Jolie movies being a massive deal.

I feel like they’re trying to do a less eye-candy, more substantive type of film than the Jolie ones. That, of course, ignores the point of the franchise.

Yeah, I've never really been a fan of the video games or movies, really, but I'm a horribly shallow person so... basically all I know about Lara is that she has huge breasts, and I'm all for that, so if she doesn't in the movie then I struggle to see why I should watch it.

Now there's a Lara I could get behind... so to speak

Yeah, I'm lowering the tone. Sorry.

Don’t be sorry; T&A was really the impetus behind the franchise. That may be callow, but don’t blame us for calling it what it is.

I like T&A as much as anyone. And probably more than most. Ian can tell you, he's seen the images I use a screensavers, lol.
