Still which she'd be more athletic and less of a stick figure but I have to admit....that looks actually great.

I noticed here, as well as with the Justice League trailer, that they also finally bring some humor into the mix......now if they just readd some colour, those movies could actually be good for once. (Dear god..the Justice League trailer...almost black and white)

Yeah, I thought this one looked better than the JL trailer.

Nice of them to shoot at her shield and not her unarmoured legs.

That's just training. When shooting in combat, always go for the center of mass.

Unless the centre is indestructible. Also what little I know of machine guns, even if they aimed in the middle, she would end up kneecapped anyway.

Gun barrels, whether from a handgun, SMG, rifle, or whatever, tend to rise rather than drop on shots subsequent to the first.

So training is to not exert any free thinking, keep doing the same thing even when it is obviously not working and if there is an armored area and a non-armored area... aim for the middle and ignore everything else. Military precision.

Anyway... Nothing in the WW1 battlefield is going to hurt her. There is zero threat to her in any of the "battles" in the trailer. She just fought Doomsday in a burning rubble wasteland without and noticeable injury or damage (no scratches, no bloody nose, etc). Some of the railway or naval guns might annoy her. I expect the story part to be rather good, and the humor of her adjusting to society to be quite funny. I just don't see any kind of threat to her what so ever.

While I liked her reveal in BvS, if they were going to have a non-super opponent for her, then her stand alone movie should have come out first... then have her go against Doomsday and smile while getting punched.
Ugh... do not thump the Book of G'Quan...

Military teaches to shoot at the center of mass. Reason is simple, largest target also softest too. Shooting at the head for example, has a high failure factor. Unlike what they show in movies, lots of bullets are fired with very few hit and also from long distances.

Head shots also depending on the gun of course, could result in a ricocheting off of the front part of the skull. The front part of the skull is durable to take even a 9mm or below and result in a really bad headache and a cracked skull.

Legs are moving constantly so less likely to hit them.

WW is supposed to be as durable and as strong as Superman. Nothing in WW1 will hurt her at all.
