Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Trailer 2

Post by Nutso »

The dicks who put this trailer together give away a spoiler at the end to maybe give us a laugh?

Here's a sneak peak that was released Nov 30th.

Lol..just saw the second trailer and couldn't stop laughing.

This is sooo bad it is funny. First, they pretty much gave the whole story away in two trailers...all that's left is filling in minor details but we know pretty much how it will go down now.

Then the monster (which I have a pretty good idea what it will be) at the end...omg....sooo bad. I mean bad design, bad CGI, bad looking and generic all around. And THAT is how they introduce Wonder Woman? It was utterly ridiculous imho, lol! (I mean the look on Batmans face...like he just crapped his pants or something)

Lex Luthor? This is more like the Joker or Riddler or any other nutjob villain.........utterly hilarious. So yeah..I might be watching this for the laughs....but imho the DC Animated Universe (Superman TAS, Batman TAS, Justice League/Unlimited) versions are still at least 10 times better!

Also...Wonder Woman...idk.....yes she got a pretty face and no...I don't know how her acting will be. But obviously - contrary to the guys who at least made an effort buffing up - they couldn't get her to eat a few burgers. I get it...Wonder Womans superpowers are magical so she doesn't necessarily need to be buff but the same could be said for Superman. In the comics she is depicted as having the athletic build of a fitness or figure model.........so she doesn't really look the part, sorry.

And the CGI sets.....just look so bad. Looks like 2/3 of the film is CGI. I didn't mind in Sin City since it was heavily stylished. But honestly....this looks like crap! (Just look at Wonder Woman sliding over the ground from the blast....she casts no shadow.... :bangwall: )

I figure that it will start with Batman and humans being mad about the destruction from the last movie. They will make nice nice and then Luthor/Batman will toss some Kryptonite into the mix and Superman will go "evil" like he did in the original Superman III. Figure it out, Superman is better. Luthor says, "Hey, meet Doomsday!" (Zod redux)... Act 3. Enter Wonder Woman and Aquaman to help.

Leaked plot from 5 months ago. It's a reddit link. From the trailer it got some things right.

I knew there had to be a true villian in the movie. Can't have Batman vs. Superman and Wonder Woman somewhere in between, no porno intended.

Buy introducing HIM this soon smacks of trying to put everything a geek wanted in the past twenty years in a single movie.

Seems like that's exactly what they're doing - the reasoning probably being that that's what Marvel did with The Avengers, and it worked spectacularly well. Course Marvel laid the groundwork for The Avengers with no less than five movies that all had much the same tone and little things interlinking them. This... not so much. In fact they seem to be doing it the other way around, hoping to spin sequels off this with the individual characters.

Gotta say, though, I am liking these trailers. Never was a comic book fan, so I've no opinion on how well they're doing in translating the source to the screen. But just on its own terms, it's looking a lot better than I originally thought it would be. I'm willing to give it a try.

It's impressive and flashy. Though I am curious how come we haven't heard Wonder Woman speak yet.

I agree with Graham, they seem to be doing this back to front, they should have started with individual movies that tie together, not the other way around.

Also Monster looks like a joke and Luthor is cashing in on the success of Joker but fails.

I think that they (DC/WB) just realized how far ahead the MCU was. They need to start pumping some characters into the DCCU. The Arrow and the milk bred Flash weren't quite standing up to the MCU.

You think so? I thought it looks......pathetic really. Way to much bad CGI....looks totally unrealistic.

Point in case the WW introduction scene. Looks incredibly cheap and tries to cover it up with excessive amounts of dust and debris. Why they don't go full CGI at this point (meaning also CGI actors) is quite frankly beyond me. But I got a definite Star Wars prequel vibe here......

I watched it on my phone so that I can't see as clearly as I would.

But Doomsday I did see clearly and he isn't that good. Like I said he looks like Ninja Turtle was set on fire.

Flashy I meant by the amount of explosions and fight scenes.
