A Stephen King proxy is writing a book that will drive humanity mad and allow eldritch things to invade the world. Luckily for humanity nobody reads any more.

I know some DITLers love this movie. "Do you read Sutter Cane?" Director John Carpenter considered this movie the end of his "Apocalypse Trilogy." As such I wish Chuck would have reviewed Prince of Darkness prior to this. He already reviewed The Thing. He does discuss Prince of Darkness a bit in this review though.
