Fantastic Four | Official Trailer

Post by Nutso »

Fantastic Four | Official Trailer: FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
I have to admit, I like what I see even if it's not what I grew up with. However, since Man of Steel, I am distrusting of these movies when they look so ultra-serious. At least it gave us a little light-hearted moment with Johnny Storm and Reed Richards. Plus I can't believe Billy Elliot is in this. I love Billy Elliot!

Sure looks better than the last pair of movies they made!

My cynical side is trying to dislike this, but I like the look of that trailer. Besides, I believe that's Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm and I've been fairly impressed with his work on Turn: Washington's Spies.

Doesn't look bad. As Graham said better than the last two. But yeah, way too serious and way too much BWWWAAAAH!

Since Inception, all trailers have to have BWWWAAAAH! It's a law, or an old treaty or something.

I like the look of Thing. Though I wonder what he will sound like.

Then let's break that treaty. It's genuinely annoying and just makes me roll my eyes.

Didn't Alien have that in its trailer too, though more original?

Always liked this trailer. To me it stood out compared to other contemporary trailers.

I like the casting group for this (even though Johnie is black... I just hope it won't turn into "I'm the black guy" like Robocop's change). All of them seem to be able to play their roll. And hopefully any humor will be genuine, not childish like the previous attempts.

As i mentioned, I've been very impressed by Jamie Bell, though Ben Grimm is certainly a stretch. I think he could do it well, though.
