See the first teaser trailer for the 24th James Bond adventure SPECTRE. A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

Interesting idea, but a poorly-executed trailer for it IMHO.

Agreed. The poster got me more excited than this trailer.

How so? I think it is pretty much perfect. I still have no idea what is going on or what the story is really about, but I am eager to find out!

Compared to most other teaser clips which are mostly the best scenes of a movie one after the other...I actually prefer this. I mostly stopped watching teaser and trailers just because they tend to give everything away....

(And say what you like..but I really like Waltz..shame he is mostly playing villains..still...)

I'm not asking for the best scenes of the upcoming movie - in fact, that trend annoys me as much as it does you - but a teaser should evoke interest in the film that it advertises. This one did its level best to evoke disinterest. If a trailer tells me absolutely nothing about a film, then it obviously doesn't tell me anything of interest about the film (i.e., a reason to watch it.)
