Should I take that as an endorsement for the movie in general?Vic wrote:Steve McQueen, The Great Escape........

Re: Jurassic World
I had just been referring to the motorcycle scene, but yes - The Great Escape was an absolutely phenomenal movie. The cast is like a "Who's Who" of 1960's stars... McQueen obviously, Sir Richard Attenborough, Donald Pleasance, James Coburn, Charles Bronson, James Garner, David McCallum...sunnyside wrote:Should I take that as an endorsement for the movie in general?Vic wrote:Steve McQueen, The Great Escape........

Re: Jurassic World
Oddly, it's regarded as a classic "Christmas movie" in the UK even though it's absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. You can usually find it on at least a couple of different channels on Christmas day every year.

Re: Jurassic World
Seems obvious. One of the stars of The Great Escape was of course Sir Richard Attenborough, who went on to portray Santa Claus in the 1994 remake of A Miracle on 34th Street. Just read that the raptors in the trailer are trained ones. They are bigger, more deadly version of dogs.
