You know, I genuinely love the 2007 Transformers film. This one has good moments, but hasn't aged well for me.

I like the first one. It was tolerable. Hate the rest though. Probably will hate this Extinction one too.

I just hate the main guy.
What does defeat mean to you?
Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Who, Shia Lebeuf or Micheal Bay? I think they've replaced the kid from the first few films with somebody else

Mark Wahlberg has matured into a pretty solid actor, IMO.

I even forgave him The Happening.

I'll forgive him, but never the movie itself. It was so bad it was horrible.Graham Kennedy wrote:I even forgave him The Happening.

Here is an odd and ironic (I think that is the correct usage Alanis) thing for me with this movie. A few years back I took the train from Pittsburgh to NYC to see Young Frankenstein on Broadway. As the trip, including all stops, is about 9 hours; I took a few movies that I got from Netflix and some other stuff (incl Red Dwarf DVDs). On the way back from NYC I put in The Happening. They escape from the city and head out into the country side... hey, they are on a train and I am on a train... hey, they just passed a station that we just passed... hey, they are on the SAME TRAIN!!!Graham Kennedy wrote:I even forgave him The Happening.

That would be disconcerting, I imagine.Jim wrote:... hey, they are on the SAME TRAIN!!!
