That seems to be the idea. Besides Karen Gillan with no hair, robotic-looking prosthetics, and blue skin is still Karen Gillan.

That's the thing about the Marvel Movies, they aren't too serious. This one has a raccoon with a rocket blaster and a talking, walking tree. I am sure there won't be a scene where a dad commits suicide to keep a secret.

Exactly. A talking tree voiced by Vin Diesel and a raccoon voiced by Bradley Cooper, to boot. BTW, did I mention it's got Karen Gillan? Because it has Karen Gillan in it. I just thought I'd mention that, because it does have Karen Gillan in it. Am I obsessed?

Just ever so slightly, but, if you don't say anything I don't think anyone will notice. :)

That's part of the charm for me. ;) And I don't really know anything about the comic Guardians of the Galaxy.

Give a man a fire, and you keep him warm for a day. SET a man on fire, and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life...
