In that movie, Godzilla's "son" absorbed all of the radiation from the meltdown and doubled in size (the son was originally about 1/2 size anyway). Since he absorbed all of the radiation... there was no fallout in Tokyo.

No, really, REALLY not. Godzilla isn't "an animal", he's a MONSTER. Stuff like that just makes him mad.

He is the King of Monsters.

Pesky humans and their pea shooters will do nothing to him.

Come now, the Japanese tried massive, no, MASSIVE, amounts of electricity....nope, didn't work. They came up with artillery sized energy weapons! Nope, didn't work. The only thing that did work only slowed him down for a few decades, AND, managed to give birth to another giant monster as a consequence. Not gonna use that solution any time soon, if anybody manages to rediscover it that is.

Godzilla is a Force of Nature, one can only hope to survive such things.

I like the promo art though
Hmm... some of the older ones weren't exactly up there.

Also, nuclear bunker buster? That's a meal for the big-G!

I wish I could find the picture I was last night. Apparently Godzilla (not the 1998 version) has been progressively progressively getting larger for the past fifty years. The new one is between 120 to 150 meters tall which is more than double over the original.

You could always write a fanfic to get around asking the Forbidden Question. That's what I did. :D
