Flynn Lives

Tron: The Next Day

Nice and obvious hint for another film. I enjoyed Legacy quite a lot, so I'm glad they're seriously considering another one; I've heard rumors about a possible new trilogy starting with the next one.

Man, everything is a triology now-a-days. Except Pirates of the Carribean that just won't die.

Yeah, but counting the original and Legacy, this would be a pentology. Or whatever the proper term is for a five-movie series.

A trilogy. :P Depending, of course, on what the series is based on.

I don't think Mr. Adams had a hand in this series. ;)

Kind of weird that Flynn seems to be treated like some sort of spiritual Guru. How many people would take it as a great loss to the human spirit if Bill Gates vanished tomorrow?

I want to get at least one answer from my side of the pond (as you would say) before I distribute the cookie. :D

What is so special about Flynn anyway? In the first all he did was create a bunch of games that was stolen from him. In Legacy, I guess he did more than that before got he got stuck in cyberland.

As a user he seemed be the original Neo, but that is about it. His son should have had the same ability to manipulate cyberstuff so maybe he is special in some sort of way.

Thouigh I am stuck on the whole concept of the whole cyberland thing...
