What's kinda funnay about Ant-Man is that, IIRC he wasn't anything special. His debut was in an anthology series more in line with the Outer Limits.

As a kid, I know I remember Ant-man more for his connection with the Wasp than for anything else. However, I could see the film being an important bridge in the Avengers universe.
