That's a bit weird. At least in the first couple of books, the whole point of the stories is that the protagonists don't have to actually do anything... the Foundation has been set up so that the problems that arise just kind of work themselves out. I can't see a TV show that revolves around the principle of protagonists who may as well stay home...

Then again, most of that goes out the window when the Mule shows up, so maybe they will jump to that?

I'll have to reread these books to see how I think the viability of this would be.

I'd watch it (if the acting was good) just because I want more good old sci fi.

I recently read the first three Foundation books and was thinking this would make a perfect show. The only down side is there really aren't characters that last throughout many seasons. There's a couple sure, but for the most part you'll need a whole new cast each time.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. They always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you why.
