I'm ready. I have a bottle of scotch and a bottle of bourbon. 8)

Yay, I get to spend the storm inside a hospital. Apparently, I had a hypoglycemic episode yesterday afternoon involving passing out, bashing my face on the counter, and opening up my head against the floor. My 8-year-old daughter called 911 for me, and now here I am. Loose tooth, headache, but at least the G-men won last night.

I second Tsuki's 'damn' and hope you're all right, too. :(

I'm staying in tonight. No work for me.

Yikes, sorry to hear that Mikey. I'm a bit under the weather, so not quite enjoying my day(s) off due to Hurricane Sandy. The effect on my sugar at this point has been to raise rather than lower it: I won't pass out but I gotta pee every ten minutes.

Never rains but it pours, eh Mikey? I specifically won't wish you luck and get well soon, as it seems to be counterproductive.

Thanks, guys. They're still taking EEG's and all sorts of blood sugar readings. The headache is subsiding, and I'm just trying to chill out and see what happens. They've already taken my breakfast order for tomorrow, so I guess I'm not going anywhere until AT LEAST tomorrow afternoon, but what will be will be, I suppose.

"Invade of blow out"? That's an interesting mangling even for you. :P

It's pretty nasty out there. Thankfully my home tends not to have major outages; as of now everything is still working at home (despite a few momentary flickers) though there are outages in some areas. The worst is starting to come in and should pass through overnight through tomorrow morning, so we just have to hunker down and ride it out.

My wife mentioned that we lost one of our willow trees. Thankfully, it didn't come down on the house.
