Very true, and Landau for one never seemed too concerned about any sort of scientific pseudo-accuracy.

So I took home a chick I shouldn't have. Easily top three if not the most attractive. Not bad either in the sack.

Problem is that three weeks later I am still trying to shake her not because I wanted a easy sex but because she is severely broken person.

She needs therapy. She absolutely no self esteem. I am a novelty to her. Apparently all her ex boyfriends were abusive according to a friend that knows her. She needs a stable environment. She needs someone better than I am. I am patient but not that patient.

Tip of the iceberg here.

Oh and habitual liar which is linked to the self esteem thing.

OK, what's better than finding an old rerun of "The Avengers" (TV) on tonight? Finding a rerun of "The Avengers" featuring guest star Peter Cushing, that's what.

Got my schedule for Thanksgiving. Working the night... but Black Friday, off. I know what I won't be doing that day.

Same. In St Martins that day.
What does defeat mean to you?

Nothing it will never come. Death before defeat. I don’t bend or break. I end, if I meet a foe capable of it. Victory is in forcing the opponent to back down. I do not. There is no defeat.

Hmm. When does the Christmas Season start in your countries?

In the US we've got this thing where people generally feel like you should wait until after Thanksgiving. Christmas stuff leaks a bit into everything a while before that, but then Black Friday (the day after thanksgiving) hits and insanity ensues.

I'm hoping Mikey manages to survive without a stress induced hospitalization. You need to stay alive for the next Trek movie and the new series buddy!

For me and my family at least, after Thanksgiving. But there's Christmas crap in my store around the last week of Halloween. :madashell:

Meh. It's only 5 weeks of 55 hrs./6 days per. However, I have to disagree about the "after Thanksgiving" bit. We've been selling Christmas deco and craft since before Halloween.

Vaguely the big christmas run up seems to happen post Bonfire Night (5th Nov)/Post Halloween. There are some places that begin to advertise earlier though.

I survived the rush on Thursday night, and have today off to recuperate. Disruptions were at a minimum, although one kid got busted for shoplifting visine and there was one known fight.

Was going to ask how you deal with this:

So, I tried a zero-carb Monster energy drink today. It tasted like a weird mixture of artificial sweetener and despair.
