That's a basic physics experiment which I did myself as one of the science projects in grade school. I have a summer wardrobe of loose, light colored shorts and tees and sandals.

You can see by my new av that I'm counting down until Friday... until I realized that we've got baseball practice Friday, softball practice and my nephew's beach volleyball tourney Saturday, and my new nephew's baptism Sunday. I'm seriously considering keeping my daughter home from school Monday just to see it.
That's the thing with the dragons and the training? So that's a series that doesn't melt an adult's mind but a young girl (lets say seven) might enjoy?

Absolutely. DreamWorks has struck that perfect balance with both the films and the cartoon series - my 5-year-old and 9-year-old both loved the movies (we saw the sequel just today,) and I had no misgivings about taking them and sitting through it. In fact, parts of the movies are quite enjoyable for the attendant adult, and the cast of the films is great: Gerald Butler, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, America Ferrara, Craig Ferguson, Cate Blanchett (in the sequel,) etc. There were parts of the second film that moved my daughter (the older kid) to tears, so be warned of that, but then again E.T. and Bambi made plenty of folks cry too.

He has a way with words also!

Bilbo Baggins: Good morning.

Gandalf: What do you mean? Do you mean to wish me a good morning or do you mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not? Or perhaps you mean to say that you feel good on this particular morning. Or are you simply stating that this is a morning to be good on?

Bilbo Baggins: All of them at once, I suppose.

Yeah, I love that bit. Gandalf tries some wordplay bullshit and Bilbo just slices right through it.

McAvoy wrote:So the Prelude to My Brother vs. Psycho Wife 2: Now They are Serious is going to happen on Monday.
Prelude is over. She has a restraining order on him or something. He has a new job of driving a truck across country which pays well enough. She being the nutcase she is, basically thought he was hanging out with some imaginary friend the whole time. Now my brother is doing all this with the main goal of getting the kids out of her hands as it seems she has really hasn't been parenting well or not at all.

Any who, I along with my cousin will be going over to pick up the car because she is literally dangerous behind the wheel and she has no insurance orlicense and probably driving it which means very soon she will crash it.

I have to go over with a police escort and my cousin is there to run interference. Me and him are the only two that can do this. My parents are playing neutral so they can see the grandchildren.

Yay me.

McAvoy, I'm familiar with that sort of obtuse nuttery, so I'll show solidarity. I mean, fight the power and everything, but some people take it to mean complete disregard of basic human decency. It's sad.
